Counselling falls under the same umbrella as ‘talking therapies’ and the goal of counselling is to help people come to terms with many problems they are facing, with an ultimate goal of overcoming them.

Counselling helps you take time out from your situation and see it from a fresh perspective.

 

Working with me will give you the chance to think about what you can do to change your situation for the better. It also gives you the chance to explore complex or difficult issues in a safe and confidential environment.

Many common areas that counselling can help include: Relationship issues, trauma, bereavement, mental health issues, addictions, depression and anxiety.

Counselling can help by allowing someone the safe space to understand themselves better and in turn, gain a clearer understanding of their problems.

I offer face to face counselling meaning I meet with all my clients in person. I’m also happy to speak to you first over the phone, find out what is troubling you and take some basic details.

 

I would then arrange an initial consultation with you, answer any of your questions or simply just discuss the possibility of further counselling sessions. Sessions last for fifty minutes. My consulting rooms are in Bushey and Borehamwood.
